This month we celebrate Love\u2014with very good reason, for Love is the greatest expression of Life there is! A century ago, Thomas Troward defined for us <strong>these Seven Qualities of God: Life, Love, Light, Power, Peace, Beauty and Joy<\/strong>. (Longer lists have been compiled\u2014a case could be made for adding Harmony, for instance, although I believe it is implicit in Peace and in Beauty.  I like the conciseness of this list.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can one best celebrate Life with Love?<\/strong> Let\u2019s change one word: <strong>We celebrate Life AS Love.<\/strong> We BE Love. Again, the <em>how<\/em> question arises: <em>\u201chow do we do that?\u201d<\/em> We can celebrate the easy answer to that question, because we don\u2019t need to find or create or become love; <em>we already are Love<\/em>. Troward\u2019s list points out that Love is a natural element of who we are, for each of us is made in the image and likeness and out of the substance of God.<\/p>\n<p>We already are love. What we need to do if we want to express Love is to <em>let it shine<\/em>, as our old Sunday school song says: <em>\u201cThis little light of mine, I\u2019m gonna let it shine!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nancyherrick.com\/notes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/let_your_love_shine300.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-183\" src=\"http:\/\/nancyherrick.com\/notes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/let_your_love_shine300-274x300.jpg\" alt=\"Let Love Shine\" width=\"274\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/nancyherrick.com\/notes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/let_your_love_shine300-274x300.jpg 274w, http:\/\/nancyherrick.com\/notes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/let_your_love_shine300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 274px) 100vw, 274px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All that is necessary to express Love\u2019s powerful and healing energy is to remove from our thinking anything that disagrees with it. As we replace our thoughts of judgment, lack and its accompanying jealousy and competition, anger and resentment, we will find ourselves naturally floating in the Allness of God\u2019s Goodness; the seven qualities will be showing up in our individuated, personal lives!<\/p>\n<p><strong>When we live AS love and compassion, we live in peace\u2014and in vital, personal fullness!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Be kind and be well,<\/strong><br \/>\nNancy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Friends, Happy February and happy Life to you!
